Dating back to the 15th C. All Saints in Hawnby is in the parish of Upper Ryedale in the North York Moors close to the town of Helmsley. Hawnby church nestles in a valley close to the River Rye. It's of interest to me personally as my Great Grandfather was born in Hawnby and baptised in the church in 1851
