Constructed in 1905 the lighthouse at Seaham Harbour on the North East coast has operated continuously since that time, close to the harbour breakwater. As well a protecting shipping, it's also a popular spot for local fishermen! Seaham is in County Durham.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation.
