Durham city lies on the River Wear and the Durham University students like nothing better in the Summer than spending an afternoon taking a rowing boat out for a leisurely time on the river. These boats are tied up next to the Elvet Bridge in Durham City Centre, which was built by the Bishop of Durham around 1180.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share.
