The Red Admiral (Vanesa Atalanta) is one of the last butterflies to be seen in English gardens at the end of Summer. With the changing climate, more of the Red Adrmiral butterfly population is remaining in the UK, although numbers still migrate here from Central Europe in the Summer each year.
