Helvellyn Gill is a stream flowing from near the summit of Helvellyn mountain in the English Lake District not far from the Lakes of Ullswater and Derwentwater. The water from the stream eventually flows into the reservoir at Thirlmere which has supplied water to Manchester for many years. This picture shows the stream in full flow during Autumn.
