Several of my Ancestors were born in Hawnby village, baptised in All Saints Church and ultimately buried there. The small village is close to the market town of Helmsley in the North York Moors. The present church was constructed in the 14th century.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation.
