The Church of St Mary and All Saints, Fotheringhay, is noted for containing a mausoleum to leading members of the Yorkist dynasty of the Wars of the Roses. Fotheringhay Castle was also the prison of Mary Queen of Scots prior the her execution. The church occupies an imposing position on the banks of the River Nene which provides a wonderful view of the church and landscape.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share.
