Deep within Kielder Forest a small wooden bridge leads the way over the river running through the woodland in Autumn. Kielder Forest is the largest man made woodland in England. The forest covers 250 sq miles and contains several Sites of Special Scientific Interest, as well as a healthy population of the native red squirrel.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation.
