Abstract Tree Art Canvas Print

This old fallen tree, found in the middle of a nature reserve wood, was slowly decaying and the layers of the tree trunk appeared to be separating and showing each year's growth of the trunk separately. The occasional fallen leaf and spots of lichen blending with the scale-like appearance of the old wood created a feeling of being taken back over the centuries this tree has probably witnessed come and go.

In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation. I'm never happier than when I'm sitting beneath a tree deep in a wood. I hope you find and deepen your connection too.
