In late July the purple heather on the North York Moors is starting to put on its annual spectacular show when the moorland landscape is coloured purple. This heather near Hawnby village on the Yorkshire Moors is starting to look its best.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation.
