A combination of photograph and digital art impression of the well known lighthouse on Saint Marys Island at Whitley Bay on the North East coast. Historically in Northumberland it is now in the region of Tyne and Wear, The lighthouse and cottages were built in 1898 on an island that was the site of a monastic chapel.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation.
