The cast iron lighthouse at the mouth of Maryport Harbour is a listed building and though to be the oldest cast iron lighthouse in Britain, having been constructed around 1846. The harbour looks out onto the Solway Firth and across to Scotland.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share.
