Honister Pass is a mountain pass in the Lake District National Park links the town of Keswick to Buttermere in the western Lake District. The pass reaches an altitude of 1,167 feet (356 m) and holds the UK 24-hour rainfall record; in the 24 hours to 6 pm on 5 December 2015, 341.4 mm of rain fell there.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature.
