Agdenes Lighthouse is close to the town of Trondheim on the Trondheimsfjord. The white building on the hillside was built in 1828 and was in continuous use until 1984. At that time it was replaced by the light with the red top to the left of the picture. Although the new light seems small it's actually 37ft tall and can be seen for up to 14 miles.
In so many ways the human race has lost its connection with nature. I developed a love of nature in my teens, which has never left me, and it's my wish that, in some small way, my images will help you reconnect with the beautiful world we live in and share. My close up images show you the intricate beauty of nature which, I hope, will encourage you to stop, really look and appreciate the beauty and magnificent complexity of all creation. I'm never happier than when I'm sitting beneath a tree deep in a wood. I hope you find and deepen your connection too.
